If evolution is true, what should we see behind us if we peered into a metaphysical mirror?
We all have an ancestral lineage. We all have a mother and father, and each of them had a mother and father, and so on, all the way back to . . . what?
If we could stand in front of an imagined metaphysical mirror and peer behind us to see who or what came before us, what might we see? Imagine this mirror being capable of bringing into focus every ancestor of yours throughout all of time, back to . . . what?
For everyone, natural creationists (evolutionists), supernatural creationists (Bible believers), and agnostics, this mirror must necessarily reveal a time when the first being in their lineage appeared on Earth. Even if you don’t believe in anything, it is a necessary fact of reality that we as humans had a first ancestor. And before that . . . what?
If evolution is true, the mirror must also be a microscope because that first human ancestor was likely a microbe. And before that microbe the evolutionists’ mirror would see nothing but dead matter. Dead matter being aimlessly knocked about the universe by the Big Bang’s purposeless blast.
If creation by God is true, the mirror would reveal a starkly different reality. Our first human ancestor was . . . a human! And before that the mirror would reveal — in addition to chaotic matter — a very live, purposeful God who we might see walking on earth with that first human.
And here a secret denied by many modern thinkers: There is an objectively true view in the mirror and it does not change based on your beliefs or what you wish to see!
Take a look in the mirror. What do you see? Are your eyes deceiving you?
Think about it.
